maintaining a compliant service To work as part of a team providing support for
vulnerable people within their own homes Main Duties and Responsibilities: Support
vulnerable people within their own homes. Encourage
and promote high standards of care practises within the service Promote
sound, effective and professional communication throughout team, and with
external agencies such as Community Care teams, G. P’s, service user’s
families or advocates, etc. Plan,
implement and participate in duty rotas in line with the requirements of the
service as stated by the service manager and in the absence of the
coordinator. Support the
coordinator to cover any unallocated care calls. Ensure that
accurate records are kept and maintained by all staff in accordance to
company policy and procedures To
participate in external training to develop one’s knowledge and working
practice To take responsibility for good
care/support practise and ensuring the safety and welfare of the Service.
Users are maintained. Participate in the internal and
external training and development. To work in accordance with the duty
rota as determined by the manager. To undertake any additional duties
that may be required, determined by the manager, for the efficient running of
the service. To take responsibility to effectively
and efficiently manage your time, prioritising the tasks that need to be
completed. To take responsibility and ownership
for the tasks that need achieving and ensure they are completed to the
necessary and appropriate standard. N.B.

Qualifications and Training Essential:
Numerate and Literate Full U.K. Driving Licence Commitment to undertake training Desirable:
NVQ
level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or willingness toundertake Competency – Knowledge,
skills, abilities and experience Essential:
Good
communication skills, written and oral Ability
to cope under pressure Ability
